The Goatshead bar is where you will find regular jam sessions with various musicians during the week and the character of the room is unique and inviting.
The dining areas offer a relaxing ambiance and the open wood fire in the winter months are very popular with customers.
The decked terrace with views over the gardens and creek is where you can sit back and relax with a glass in hand while the kids are kicking a ball or exploring. There is a dedicated area with a stage and at certain times of the year you can relax and be entertained by various bands.
The former stables are currently used as a bric a brac shop and they have plenty of alternative use options including a coffee and cake shop or even a Gin bar.
Each year the venue hosts two smaller scale full day festivals (250 cap) featuring local artists in March and December and has done so for the past seven years.
The Goats Head Festival in 2020 featuring headliner C.W. Stoneking and local, interstate and international artists on the bill sold 600 tickets. The festival was held across three stages and included market vendors, an Adelaide city-Macclesfield shuttle bus, and offsite camping.
The venue has had live music booked each and every Friday night in the front bar (excluding a couple of weeks of lockdown at the beginning of the pandemic) for the past seven years, which is no small achievement for a venue in the hills 47kms from the Adelaide CBD with a small local population. There has been live music two to three days a week each week for the past four years.
The Three Brothers Arms is also proud to host a Celtic Session every second and fourth Sunday where anyone of any age skill level can join in and feel supported, this has been going without fail for five years.
The venue hosts mostly folk and blues artists but not exclusively, and also provides a safe place to play for beginner and emerging local Adelaide Hills musicians, some of whom now sell out their return shows in the venue.
A fantastic location; a one of a kind unique tavern and a fabulous purchase opportunity!
